Pink Woven

I bought a “Berkman” Oriental floor rug at a second hand shop. It is chocolate brown with pink flowers. ?

It appears to be made out of a very rough wool or possibly horse hair. It has no backing. It’s like a very heavy blanket. very nice weave. The tag on it says 5×7. I am wondering what country it came from. Apparently was distributed by KA Menendian Inc. in Columbus Ohio. But has no country of origin on the tag. Can you help me?

It may be a camel hair rug. Mr. Menendian is well known in the business, and also gives out the CRA exam (Certified Rug Appraisers Exam) for ORRA. you should bring photos of the rug to the Rug Rag Forum:
